Suitably muddy, a good day for cross country with a cold wind, rain stopped to let us run, thanks to Jim and Chris for timekeeping, good to see Pete there as well, thanks to Pat and Frazer for collecting the tape on their way back, results….

Next Club race is the Polaroid Cross Country, Sat 18th Jan, 10:00 am start. A mixture of hard core paths and muddy trails, 2 laps, about 2 1/4 miles per lap.

Wet n windy today and with some of the course churned up from last weeks Western District XC made for perfect Cross Country, 4 of us ran, slipped and slithered round….

Race on Sat 14th Dec starts at 10:00 am in front of the Castle

The Training and events Calendar has been updated until mid January, the next Club Race is the Balloch Park Cross Country on Saturday the 14th Dec.

There are a few other dates that might interest you over the next 4 or 5 weeks;

Dunbartonshire 3AAA’s Cross Country Sat 23rd Nov, its pre-entry only by 19th Nov. Let Pat B know if you are interested in running or marshalling.

Club Night Oot, D’Ton! Sat 30th Nov

Club Head Torch run, Tuesday 3rd Dec, route tba, muddy in places, head torch and good grip required!

Western District Cross Country, Balloch Park, Sat 7th Dec, similar / opposite route to our club race, Club and Individual entries open from 8th Nov on SAL Website, Link Western District Cross Country   Let Pat B know if you are entering or are interested.
